any dress shopping advice?

I am going this Saturday and really excited!  My mom and two best friends will be coming with me.  Just looking for any advice as far as trying stuff on, questions to ask the salesperson, ect.  Thanks!!

Thank you!! I always bring water with me wherever I go!  I know one of the places I am going to provides some sort of bra, but I am going to see about getting my own beforehand.

A onsie spanx .... best advise I can give... and a good happy attitude!  Sty open minded and let the dress find you ... so to speak!  have a blast too...

Yes...water, strapless bra, & no thongs!!! I tried on simpler dresses & jazzed them up with a sash or sparkly belt to get the image I was going for. My dress is from the Casablanca line and they can change a lot of things with their dresses to make it what you are looking for (within reason). If you find something you like, call a couple other places to see how much they charge for the dress. At most places I looked, my dress was the same price. However, at one store I went to buy my dress because they were offering 15% off for paying in full, 1st time visit, etc and when it came down to it, the dress was originally $200 more than every other store. I ended up buying it at a different store because they would not price match. Also, stop looking once you found it! Good luck! It's one of the best parts of wedding planning! I'm sad its over.
