i need to ask if anyone before dealt with house of brides as i want to order my dress from there ?

Milk Duds, who is the mod of this board had her BMs order their dresses there. HOB and Pearls place are two reputable online places that are safe to buy dresses from.

When I was a bridesmaid for a friend, we tried to order our dresses through them and  it was awful.  They changed prices on us, and while we were there arguing with them (we were in store since there was one near us) there was another bride there arguing with them over the fact that they ordered the wrong sizes and the dresses had stains on them when they came in (and they refused to do anything about either problem).  I would avoid them.

I used House of Brides 3 times. I went to the Orland Park salon for bridesmaid dresses with a friend's wedding party, We had a great experience! Our sales consultant was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The dresses were amazing and the lowest prices we came across when shopping.  
I bought from their website about a year later for another's friend's wedding who lives in New York. I had an easy time ordering online and got great customer service each time I called. The dress came in as scheduled and was in perfect condition.
I was so happy with both experiences that I bought my wedding dress and bridesmaid dress from the Chicago salon. Again, a great experience. My friend in New York bought her dress on the website. My party and I are all very happy with the experience.

Avoid at all costs - a dress I ordered that was supposed to take 7 weeks (plus or minus 2 weeks) still has not arrived... 17 WEEKS LATER.  

All I get from customer service is excuses.
