White party rehearsal?

Can I stray and wear cream? How strict is this policy? Ivory, nude silk? I do not want to insult the bride . So hard to wear stark white!

I'm confused, the bride is requesting that all of her rehearsal guests wear white?  If so that is rude.

But to answer your question, ivory or any shade or white would be fine.

This. I'm confused as well. Can you elaborate?

I have never seen anyone require their rehearsal be a certain color dress. If she is, she is the rude one. But just to be safe any shade of ivory or cream is a shade of white.

But ya, that's pretty rude of the bride. Plus not everyone owns white attire and might have to purchase it.

LOL, yes it is a P diddy type/Gossip Girl white party. I look awful in stark white and I already own a beautiful nude silk dress. so I'm packing it! Thanks!!
