BRIDESMAIDS DRESS SOS!!!!!

Hi Ladies, I have 5 women in my wedding party. One has a 48I (thats an i) bust and I am at a lost as to what kind of bridesmaid dress to get her.  PLEASE HELP

Re: BRIDESMAIDS DRESS SOS!!!!!

  • I don't have any bridesmaids with quite that big a bust, but I do have one that's quite chesty. She requested wide straps and going shopping with her a shallow sweethear neckline looked awesome. Just make sure it isn't to deep or you have some SERIOUS cleevage.

Why don't you ask her what she'll be comfortable in?
  • The best person to ask is the girl herself.

I have a very chesty bridesmaid (I think she's the same measurement), and I was like "You know what makes you look good.  Here's the color, here's the length and style I'm going for, pick something that makes you look amazing."

Your best bet would be to just pick a color, fabric and length and let each person pick their own dress. If all of them are different, but complimentary, it will look lovely.
  • This is one of these situations where you let every BM pick her own little black dress!

I'm an average sized person and I hate trying to squeeze into uncomfortable bridesmaid dresses (the ones from actual bridesmaid lines)...I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like for your friend!
  • Definitely pick a line and tell every guest they can pick their own style in a set color.

My only attendant is larger chested and incredibly modest. She went with a strapless, added a spaghetti strap, she felt very comfortable in her dress. It is style 84066 from DB. She did buy a jacket to accompany it, but said she was quite ok with wearing it out to dinner with her hubby in the future (she had it altered to tea length)

I think that trying on dresses will be the best indicator of personal comfort.

ETA: edited to remove personal info ;)
