This might be an impossibility--maybe one of you knows. I found a lovely pair of 3 1/2" heels for my dress that I'd like to wear for the ceremony, but I would really like to wear my dance shoes at the reception because FI and I are big dancers, and the shoes make such a difference. Trouble is, they are only 2". Don't really want to trip on my dress all night. I'm planning to bustle the train for the reception anyway..could I just put bustles all around it for a temporary hem?? Would that work? My dress has a bunch of pick ups in it anyway. What do you think? Otherwise, I guess I keep looking for low heels for the ceremony, but I just love the way I feel in high heels!
