Dyeing Shoes

I just bought my wedding shoes and had them dyed to match my bridesmaid dresses.   Then I started reading these horror stories about the dye actually dyeing the dress or feet.  Is this true?  What can I do to prevent this?  Any suggestions?

[QUOTE]I don't think the dye running will be a problem unless they get soaking wet.  I wouldn't really worry about it.

This! I made sure to spray mine with protective spray before my wedding. I had a little bit of dye on my feet but it washed right off and got on nothing else. It rained on my wedding day and I walked through the grass, or it wouldnt have done it otherwise.
