Can anyone help me find a cheaper version of this dress?

Hi ladies!

I was told that I could mosey on over here because y'all are good at finding cheaper versions of the unrealistic thing that I want!

I have a serious knack for picking out the most expensive thing in any store.  So naturally, I picked out the Modern Trousseau (designer) Eve (make? I guess is what you call it?) dress... which is $3,900 retail. If you google  it the images come right up, and on their website it's in their Spring 2012 collection.

What I specifically like about the dress is that it's strapless and has lots of non-beaded lace.  I absolutely love lace, but I dislike beading.  The only thing I don't like about it is the ribbon in the back, but I figure that doesn't have to go on the dress.

I am a street size 8 (right now... hopefully a size smaller soon), and I'm 5'7".  My target dress budget is $500-$700, however I will go up in the $1,000 ball park if it is absolutely perfect and I can't live without it.

That is a very common silhouette.  I'd just bring the picture to a shop and let them know what it is you love and you budget.  They should be able to find something very similar.

Yep, it's a common silhouette.  I did a quick check on the DB site and it looks like most of theirs have all-over beading as well, so I think that's going to be the hardest part for you.

Have you gone into any stores?  Once you get in there and start trying things on it will help you with your decision.  Go into a store that fits your price range and don't try on dresses that are out of your budget.

Allure bridals makes quite a few lace gowns without beading.  I don't know exactly what their pricing is but I think its quite a bit lower than the other dress your looking at.

I agree, you should check out Allure. I wanted lace, and my dress is Allure - although you might have a hard time finding one for under 1000. I think most are are 1400-2000.
