I posted here a few weeks ago regarding my Allure style 8764 dress that has already been purchased. I am happy with the majority of the dress , but there are some changes that I would like to make and I want to know how realistic they would be:
1. I had mentioned on an earlier post that I would like the sleeves shortened a bit....To make the edges look more uniform/ clean
2. Is there any way a seamstress would be able to make a different type of underlay , maybe a bit thicker than the satin, to give the dress more structure throughout, especially for the bottom , so that it has more definition?
3. Also, has anyone ordered this dress in the ivory with the CAFE underlay instead of just white? I'm curious as to how it would look.
Of all the lace dresses I have seen, I like mine the best for overall outline , structure, lace, etc. These are just little changes (I hope) that I feel would make me comfortable and make me feel like it was THE dress for me.
