BRIDESMAID DRESS QUESTION

I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of a small bridal party like 3 or 5 bridesmaid that used 2 different colors for the dresses. I have 5 in my bridal party and I'm thinking about having 3 girls in the same color and 2 girls in a different color but I'm not sure about this.   I'm trying to get a visual to see if the odd number of bridesmaids looks funny.  My mom thinks it might look like there wasn't enough fabric to finish the other dresses in the same color.   Thanks.  Your help would be appreciated!

I don't have a picture for you, but I just wanted to say that I don't think it would look weird to have 2 colors of dresses. It certainly wouldn't look unfinished with 2 girls in each color either. I think it sounds like a great idea and I hope someone comes up with a pic for to see!

My sister had 3 of us in light blue and our nieces (who are under 12) in yellow with light blue sashes.  It looked quite nice since their sahes matched our blue dresses so everything blended and pulled together nicely.  As MOH, I had a different style dress than the other 2 BMs.

Even if you don't have an age difference like she did, you could do it easily; just pick colors that coordinate.

I was in a wedding with 2 BM and 1 MOH.  The MOH wore a darker pink dress and we BM's wore a lighter pink dress with a sash the same color of the darker pink dress.  All three dresses were different styles (MOH had halter with A-line, one BM had strapless A-line and I had a strapless with pencil skirt).  All dresses were from the same designer and same fabric.  I don't have a pic on this computer, but I'll check later tonight and see if I can find one.  I think it looked nice.

I thinkif you tie them in together with sashes of the other dress and vice versa then it will look fab.
