So, here's the thing. I found a dress I can't seem to live without (though I haven't bought it yet, lol) for $900. For JUST the dress. No alterations, slips, bras, pins, nothing. I went on recycledbride and found the same dress, in the color I want, no alterations (except for the bussle) for $395. Thing is, I'm a 16 (and I tried on a 16 sample gown in the store in white and it FIT, hence me knowing my size) but the dress the lady is selling is a 22.
Would it be smart to buy the dress for less than half the cost, find a good (non-bridal-shop with great recommends) alterations place and get it taken in, or should I hope for the best, bide for the $900+ and get the exact size I need?
