Flower Girl dresses

So, I've been looking for flower girl dresses for my 3 year old cousin and the 6 year old diva I babysit. I keep seeing all sorts of websites but some of them look shady - which websites did you use for your dresses? Anywhere I should steer clear of? TIA!

Re: Flower Girl dresses

  • Bridal stores in your area? Are you opposed to buying one from a store?

    Otherwise try Nordstrom.com and Davidsbridal.com

  • burling coat factory has some really cute ones.. also try sears.com
  • I ended up getting mine at davids bridal so i paid a little more, they were normally 99 each but got them for 84 with a discount
  • Our FG is FI's niece.  I instructed her mother and FI's mother to start looking for Easter/spring/communion dresses going on sale back in February and March, since that was the season for little girls to wear dresses.  They found a good selection at JCPenny and got her one from there for $25 and a little sweater to wear over it for $11ish.  She is the only member of the bridal party and I'm not concerned about her dress matching mine beyond being the color white, so it worked out well.
  • bought mine at Burlington Coat Factory around the holidays and got a deal.  I added some color to it so it wasn't "bride-like" and love it.  They often have matching dresses in toddle and girls.

  • Thanks! I was interested in buying the dresses online since one girl wears toddler sizes and the other wears little girl sizes since I figured that would be the easiest way for them to have the same dress (I'm OCD about things matching...I know it's pathetic)...We've looked at department stores but we've yet to find any that are similar enough in the two sizes. I've seen lots of like "flower girl dresses only" websites - some of them were just sketchy. Just wondering if anyone had gotten any from a website and had a good/bad experience. Thanks anyway =)

I used mygirldress.com, and I am VERY happy with the product.  For my niece (8), it was a little pricy ($80 or so with shipping), but it's excellent quality.  There are lots of options that are cheaper, and the prices are lower for the smaller sizes.

I looked at Macy's, Nordstrom, and websites for bridal shops, JC Penney, and tons of other places, and really didn't find anything I liked as much as MyGirlDress.

Also, FMIL ordered FI's niece's dress and ordered the wrong color sash, and they were kind enough to send the proper color one at no charge.
