HELP! Style advise please

Need some fashion advise.  I have been seeing picture of alot of brides wearing bright colored shoes with their gowns.  I really want to wear fushia heels to match my girls dresses but my mom says I am crazy.  Am I crazy or is my mom just more traditional?

I think that you should wear whatever shoes you want. I am still on the prowl for the perfect navy blue kitten heels.

Is your dress floor length or shorter? If it's long, then I would ease your mom's fears by reminding her that they will just be a slight pop of color when you walk and not a distraction at all.

I wore a pair of wine colored heels that matched my BMs dresses. They were gorgeous.

I say you wear whatever kind of shoes you want with your dress.

I wore green flats.  I wanted them to be blue, but I tried to match my own wedding and blue wasn't anywhere!

My mom also thought I was nuts, but the color of my shoes didn't matter one iota to guests' comfort or my actual marriage.  It was something fun for me.

Colored shoes are a very modern touch.   If you Mom hasn't been seeing this trend, she may be unfamiliar with it.  Reassure her that you will make sure that the colored shoes match the formality of your dress.

What are your favorite color shoes, and pick that for your color.  Make it a signature color unique to you, or you can go with the color of the dresses your girls are wearing.

Thanks everyone!  My dress is floor length and I would wear fushia to match my girls dresses.  I think I am going to go for it!
