Dress okay for guest of Wedding

Hello,
I'm attending a good friend's wedding. It will be formal but she said knee length or long dresses are both fine.  iwas wondering if this dress would be ok, or if it is a bit too much with the sequins. I have another event it is perfect for but with the price I need to be sure I can wear it more than once. Thanks for the advice.

Personally, I think it would be fine, particularly if you had a shawl/pashmina to throw on over it.

Since your friend said it was 'formal' I think that dress is fine.   It would be too much for a casual wedding, but that's not the case here.

I would probably do a chocolate or mocha colored shawl to pick up the belt.

I don't know why I didn't think of that, A brown shawl would be so pretty!

I love this dress! I think as long as the wedding is formal, you're fine.
