My FMIL got this idea that because our wedding has a theme, that makes it a costume party. She informed me she wants to find a "square dance" dress to go with out country theme. She was dead serious. I didnt even know how to reply I was so horrified. I did express my concern to my FI and FSIL and they were both mortified at the thought of her embarrassing them. Someone must have said something to her because she asked me a few weeks ago what type of dress she should wear, and I honestly dont even know whats out there for her.
So does anyone have any examples or know of good stores that have nice plus sized dresses? They do not have to be super dressy, but anything will do. I just need to show her what type of outfit is decent for a wedding, or any formal event for that matter. I wont even get into what her idea of "dressed up" is. : /
