Hairpiece - yes or no?

I've been trying to decide if I should wear a hairpiece to go with my updo. Probably going with a simple bun/twist.

As you can see, it's got a feather flowers at the hip which I plan on keeping.

The hairpiece seems to match my dress pretty well, but I'm not sure if feather flower on the dress and feather flower in my hair will be too much. Also, my hair is shoulder length and not very thick, so when my stylist does the updo, the bun/twist is likely to be on the small side. Not sure if that will go well with a hairpiece.

I'm leaning towards no hairpiece. Any thoughts?

I think the hairpiece compliments your dress very well! I do think you should have a trial updo first to see how you like it.  I just really love that hairpiece..i hope it looks awesome!!

I really like that look.  HEre is a site that has more of the hair flowers at great prices and free shipping.  The model has a nice hair style as well.

If you are really set on a simple bun/twist, go to your local Beauty Store and buy a Mesh Chignon.  It will act as a base to the bun and will make it look 3 times fuller.  They have them in Blonde, Brown and Black so get the one closest to your hair color.  Also you can cut it in half if you want and add it to a French twist to make that look thicker and fuller as well.  It can also be used in any updo if you have finer hair.  Bobby pins hold great to them and adds extra hold.

If you add the Chignon to your hair the hairpiece that you picked out will blend better and will not look oversized, especially if you have finer hair.

these two go together beautifullly! If you are worried about the scale of your bun in proportion to the headpeice, have your stylest use a doughnut or hair rat to booste your bun, I did hair for a number of years and never did a bun updo without them, they really do plump up the hair and make the bun keep and have a lovely shape.

i really like the hairpiece.  I think you should go for it.  You should wear it on the opposite side of your hair from the flower on your dress, that would look beautiful!
