PICS Would you add sleeves to my dress?

my dress: I feel like there's something missing on top.  Maybe sleeves? I am just not used to wearing strapless and it could just be that.  Maybe I need a nice necklace but I was thinking sleeves like the ones I posted below?  Thank you for your input.

With a bolero

sleeves?

This is what the dress looks like with the sleeves

I like it with the sleeves better then the bolero.

Edit: After re-reading your post I will add that I  like it with sleeves better then no sleeves.

  • I have to say...you've posted a LOT of posts asking for opinions...belts, boleros, etc.  In all of these, I'd just LOVE to see you smiling in your dress.  A big smile in your dress on your wedding day seriously would change the look of everything.  And where is your wedding party/family with you to help you make these decisions since they would have seen you in your dress when you went shopping I would have hoped?

...but for what it's worth, I agree -- sleeves.  The bolero makes you look older than you probably really are.

Thanks everyone I had a feeling.  I have no family here. They are all states away and when I send anything via text to my sister she loves it no matter what LOL.

Well, boo to your sister loving eeeeeeeverything when you want her to have an opinion!  That must be tough shopping with nobody there.  My mom was getting annoyed with me at David's Bridal when I was asking complete strangers for their opinion when I had two BMs, my MOH and my mom there.  I debated getting a strapless dress at David's and getting those sleeves added on but I ended up getting a halter instead.
  • I like the sleeves. They are a sweet feminine touch. They'll also keep you from tugging at the top all day and night. The dress looks beautiful on you.

I like the sleeves, but the jacket gives it a nice vintage look that I think is very classic. Depends on the theme your going for. Sorry if I made it harder :

I definitely like the look with cap sleeves, but that is just my personal preference anyhow/

OMg, my family did that too...They told me they liked EVERY dress......You'd think you'd like that, but you want someone to tell you "god, you look awful" if you trully do after a while.....
  • Maybe you should try some big necklaces, like the bride in THESE photos. I'm like you, I hated the strapless look on me, so I bought something that wasn't strapless.

But I would definitely choose cap sleeves over the bolero.
