i should have mentioned that im eloping and only like 10 people will be there, and it is outdoors! thx for your comments!! much appreciated.
  • As long as your guests will feel ok about it. My Grandma would be scandalized, but my girlfirends would be fine with it.
  • If you are having a small wedding, it's not in a church, and you don't think it would offend anyone there, I think it's OK, though NMS. I also see nightgown when I look at it.

FWIW, I wouldn't consider it eloping. Eloping is when you don't tell anyone beforehand that you are getting married and it's usually just you, H, and the officiant there. If you are planning something with other people and they know about it, it's just having a small/intimate wedding. That's perfectly fine; just wanted to clear up the wording.

I've seen much more scandalous attire, even in church.  No, I don't think it's too scandalous (but understand thre are lots of conservative types out there who may disagree.)  If you love it, and you think your FH will love it, perfect!

The way you're standing in the photo makes me think you're not 100% comfortable in that dress.  Hopefully it's just the fact of being in an awkward photo - if wearing that dress doesn't make you feel 10 feet tall and drop-dead gorgeous, it's not your dress.

  • Not risque for the type of wedding you're having, I have defintely seen brides wear things much more revealing.

Personally I think it looks like an night gown...I also don't find it to be flattering.

  •  No bra with it...how thick are the pieces that cover your breasts?  It isn't visible in this pic but make sure  you check carefully for nippleage, that could be awkward.  I think that there is something a bit odd in the fit, combined with no bra and the plainness that makes it look a little too much like a nightgown.  Would you be having it altered at all?

I agree with others about the fit. It just makes you look straight up and down without any curves at all...It seems to need to cinch more at waist or something
  • It is perfect for an outdoor wedding with ten people! Jazz it up with headpiece, earrings, hair-up, and enjoy!

  • I agree with others. Not risque, but not flattering at all. It does look like a nightgown
  • If you want to dress it up a little, maybe a sparkly belt or sash would do the trick and give a nice waste line.
