I will have a female usher. What type of dress should she wear? Should she match the bridesmaids? HELP!

You could go either way. Or just have her wear a similar dress in one of your alternate color/s.

I am just having the people like that in my wedding (we are calling them "ceremony attendants") wear something coordinating. Something in the same genre of the wedding scheme is ideal.
