The Same or Similar

Hey everyone I need opinions. I know that this is my day but, I want my bridesmaids to be happy. I want they all wearing the same dress or something similar and the same shoes or something similar. Is that to much to ask? Our colors are blue and silver so they have a choice.

I just asked my BM's to wear silver shoes. They chose the style, height, brand, etc. Everyone was happy and comfortable b/c they chose their own shoes.

I also just requested a color. Other than that, they are picking everything themselves.

As long as your bridesmaids are ok with it, I think it's fine to ask them to get the same color and maybe open toe or closed toe. Anything more than that is too picky in my opinion and I would buy them myself if I wanted them to all wear the same shoes.
