Gray tuxedos????

My FH has recently fallen in love with gray tuxedos. I kind of gave him semi-autonomy concerning men's attire, but I'm not sure how I feel about this. We are having a formal summer wedding in a church, and bridesmaid dresses will be a bright rosy pink. Is it just me, or are gray tuxedos less formal? Also, does anyone know where I could find pictures of brides and grooms in which the groom has on a gray tux (I'm not sure if that looks right to me).

I don't intend this in a mean way but this is really your FH's decision, not yours.  You get to pick your gown and the BM's.

He gets final decision for sure. Doesn't necessarily mean that you can't give him your opinion though once you think about it!

regardless of whose decision it is, i dont think you have anything to worry about.

my future SIL's wedding is july 21 in a catholic church and they are doing gray tuxedos from mens wearhouse. its a lighter gray so it works with summer. the dresses are like a royal blue. i think grey and pink will look fab together. if you're having an actual "black-tie" wedding it wouldnt be appropriate but since your FH is even considering gray i am guessing not? i wouldnt worry about it though, it will look great! here are some links to pics:

We used gray for our formal spring wedding.  I think they looked lovely, at this point I am just bored by black tuxes.

We are also doing a formal summer wedding next July and FI plus GM's will be in gray tuxes. He will be in a darker charcoal while the guys will be in a litter gray. Our colors are orange, gray and coral . The gray looks fantastic! It is totally fine for a wedding.

You can always google gray and pink weddings if you're not sure of how it will look. HTH!

We are having gray tuxes at our formal church wedding in November. I love them and think they can look just as formal as the black. My girls will be in navy. Your pink sounds awesome!! I've seen a lot of gray tuxes and suits on pinterest and any good google image search will bring it up :

I originally wanted to do grey, but didn't find any we liked.  H picked out the particular tux, but quit having an opinion when it came to vests etc.  I think grey will look good, and will definitely look formal enough
