Mermaid cut question

this probably sounds really silly but i am in love with mermaid cut dresses and wanted one for myself and my BM's. One of my BM's however is concerned with her ability to use the ladies room since there will be plenty of drinking. Anybody have an experience with this or input? I wore a medmaid cut to my prom and dont remember it being a problem but it was a much shorter day and most of the partying was done after the dress was off . Thanks!

I think it's fine to have a general idea of what you want the BM dresses to look like, but they don't have to be mermaid because your dress might be.  Have them try on all kinds of dresses when you go shopping

Ya... this is what I was thinking..not everyone can pull off mermaid, and this very well could be her making up a small reason to avoid a mermaid dress rather than coming right out and saying "I think my butt will look fat in that"
Try on a variety of styles and see what looks best ON your GIRLS..not what looks best on your wedding....
