When we started looking for bridesmaid dresses, we really wanted to buy gently used/secondhand but couldn't find the particular style we were looking for on craigslist, theknot classifieds, recycledbride.com, etc. My MOH was pregnant, and I thought for SURE that we could find a secondhand maternity BM dress. I was surprised to not find any. So, my question is, do pregnant BMs just assume they can't resell because of the alterations done? And... can we try to resell the dress she bought? Or is is unsellable because of the alterations? She was a week away from her due date when she wore it. (Photot below) She will never wear it again and it is just sitting in her closet. I'd like to help her resell it. How is the best way to list it? I looked on the Bump.com but they don't have a trash-to-treasure board like thenest.com. Any suggestions?
