shoes for bubble hem dress

Hi ladies!
My dress came in and fits perfects.  The only issue i have now are the shoes.  The ones I had originally selected are way too uncomfortable to be worn all day but if switch out of them the dress will drag since it will be too long.  I found lovely multicolored Kate Spade shoes which My folks offered to buy me as a bday/xmas gift.  They were comfy when i tried them on but I am concerned if the glitter and bows will get caught under the dress. Anyone have any expereince with shoes and bubble hems?

Re: shoes for bubble hem dress

  • It depends on how long the bubble is. If it touches the ground, not likely. Another option is to find one without the bow.

  • The material of the dress is a satin but the inside lining on the hem is a heavier almost microsuede material, my concern is it attaching to the shoes and me tumbling to my doom down all the stairs i have to traverse Frown
