shoes for bubble hem dress

Hi ladies!
My dress came in and fits perfects.  The only issue i have now are the shoes.  The ones I had originally selected are way too uncomfortable to be worn all day but if switch out of them the dress will drag since it will be too long.  I found lovely multicolored Kate Spade shoes which My folks offered to buy me as a bday/xmas gift.  They were comfy when i tried them on but I am concerned if the glitter and bows will get caught under the dress. Anyone have any expereince with shoes and bubble hems?

It depends on how long the bubble is. If it touches the ground, not likely. Another option is to find one without the bow.

The material of the dress is a satin but the inside lining on the hem is a heavier almost microsuede material, my concern is it attaching to the shoes and me tumbling to my doom down all the stairs i have to traverse
