Hi! My wedding is a fast approaching (11/11/11). My seamstress warned me last month that if I lost any more weight I would have to get my dress taken in. I've lost 11 pounds since August 20. I plan on losing 3 more so I can be at my goal weight for the wedding...
The thing is is now my dress just hangs on me like a bag! It fits okay on the sides, but it's the top that is bothering me. My dress is really slim so I can't wear the torsolette bra I bought on eBay because you can see the boning in the corset through the dress! I think that would help keep it up but I do not have the money to buy another one.
I don't really want to get my dress taken in nor do I really have the time! (Moving starting on 10/23-11/1, working 30 minutes away, defending my thesis 11/2, putting the entire wedding together myself).
Anyone choose other alternatives to getting their dress taken in? Would double sided tape work (like the ones meant for clothing)? Has anyone tried that? My dress is very slim, hardly a train, a-line.
