I put a deposit down Saturday on a dress I really really liked....however, when I read the description online after I got home it said it was an A-line silhoutte....when I tried it at the store the consultant clipped it in such a way that it appeared more fitted, like a mermaid or sheath, which is why I really liked it. Its lace so there is not a lot of volume but I feel like if the shape is really a-line and I thought it was different...well, Im panicked. The sample dress was also 5 sizes too big so it was a bit tough to get a feel. Everything else I loved, neckline, fabric...
What should I do? The store is in NYC by my parents and I recently moved 4 hrs away to be closer to my fiance, so going there isnt easy. Should I see if it can be altered, can you even make an A-line more fitted. I dont want to be that girl, my wedding is in April and this doesn't get in until December...a lot of other designers were not an option by their deliveries were 6-8 months.
