I am planning my wedding colors to be shades of dark reds and I will be using candles throughout my reception and also will have special lighting to do a candle light wash. I don't want my brides maid dresses to be red since I don't want them to be too matchy-matchy to the color of my theme. I had suggested black dresses with silver or gold accessories. They feel like it's to funeral feeling. I feel like black is an elegant color and can used in many ways. Any suggestions? I've also played with the thought of other colors but just can't make up my mind. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks
