I bought a dress during a sample sale at Priscilla of Boston, and upon further inspection at home, it has some flaws I did not see in the store. This is the dress:
It is missing some of the crystals around the waistband and there are a few tears in the overlay. I am wondering (1) where could I look for replacement crystals, and (2) can a seamstress repair the tears? There is one at a seam I think could be repaired but there is also at least one other tear that is nowhere near a seam.
Also, should I have the dress cleaned first or take it to a tailor first?
