BM Dresses/November

So, I had my eyes set on a long, chiffon-y type bridesmaid dress (think Bill Levkoff/strapless style - you know what I'm talking about).  Unfortunately, after surveying my BP's budgets (like every good bride should), there is no way I'm going to find something like that for under $150.

How weird will short dresses look for an early November wedding?  Temps have been mild in NJ around that time but who knows what later this year will be like.  It's not like they will need to be outside, other than for pics before the sun goes down.

Here are three chiffon strapless dresses from Alfred Angelo.  I am sure if you call up the store they could give you a price.  But I am pretty sure that non of their BM dresses go over $180 so I am sure you could find something that you like within their price range.

As for short dresses.  I think they would be fine.  Most of your guests will wear short dresses to your wedding in November so I don't think the time of the year really matter when it comes to length.

How is is that I spend a considerable amount of time on the Alfred Angelo site and yet I never stumbled on the last link.  Love that one!  And they have it in the color I'm going for.  Bonus!

Thanks for these suggestions.  I've got a date to go out with my MOH next month and we were going to hit up David's and Alfred Angelo.  I just get worried about quality with DB.  If my BP is spending money on a dress, I want to make sure it going to be the best that can be afforded.  Seeing it in person will help, as well.

My girls got long Mori Lee Chiffon dresses from Cbslimited.com. They are an authorized retailer, and they were much cheaper then the bridal salons, plus they offer free shipping and an additional discount if you purchase 5 or more. Just an FYI if AA or Davids doesn't work out.
