Veil....CHEAP

Hi Knotties, 

Did anyone out there get a veil for around 50 dollars or less?  I almost fell over when I looked at the price of a very, very simple veil with no beading or anything at the bridal salon (almost 300 dollars). 

I quite simply will not pay that much for a piece of tulle. I'd go without a veil before paying that much. Does anyone have suggestions for affordable veils?  My google searches haven't been much of a help.

Have you bought your dress already?  I got the bridal shop to throw in the veil with the dress.

Did anyone close to you get married recently? You could ask them if you could wear theirs as your "something borrowed". I was planning on doing that with my sister's veil but the style didn't really match my dress and I'm picky lol.
