How to tuck in lace-ups?

I got a lace-up dress, and I want to tuck in the laces rather than tying it in a bow.  But we are not sure how to secure it inside without it bulging out.  I saw one website just said to run the laces through the bottom holes twice & then tuck it in, but it seems like that wouldn't hold very well.  Any suggestions?

I'm tucking mine in as well. Once the girls are done lacing you up in the back there should be a small area where you can tuck the left over strings into. Have someone show you and your MOH or your mom at a dress fitting how to do it so it doesn't appear lumpy. I agree, they look much better tucked in then left out and tied.

yeah, we tucked them in the little hole, but do you just leave them like that?  or do you need to tie them or anyhting?

I'm pretty sure you just leave them like that but pull them all the way through so there isn't a bulge. You can also cut the laces if they seem to be abnormally long.

After you tuck them in have someone reach up under the skirt and tug on them so that  they lay flat! I agree- I'm not a fan of seeing them tied as a bow on the outside, so I'll be tucking mine in too!
