Wedding in 30 days, not feeling confident in my dress :(

Hello :/

I have thee most amazing dress. I love how it fits and everything, only thing I HATE is my arms! I feel so self conscious about it, Im dreading having to take pictures in it. I dont know what to do! Whats a quick fix I can do in a month that will make me feel more comfortable?

What can I do?????? Im so desperate :( I want to feel pretty that day, I dont think I will :/

  • The quick fix is to eat healthy and exercise regularly.

  • Get a wrap or bolero

  • Wrap or it would be pretty easy to get some sleeves added i would think.

  • Get in the gym. Look up a bridal arm workout. Ask some of the ladies on the workout board here on the knot. Getting a bolero or wrap won't make you feel better, it will just be covering up the problem area that you think you have. The best thing to do is eat well and exercise your arms.

  • Toning up your arms will definitely help and reducing fats and carbs temporarily will help tone them up in a shorter amount of time but I agree with the exercising. But try creotine it will help shape your muscle faster (of course you should always consult a nutritionist before using it) but drink it after a 30 minute work out. Good luck!

  • For taking pictures, you could practice (in the mirror) posing with your arms slightly raised away from your body (everyone's arms look smaller when they aren't pushed up against your torso). You really should practice ahead of time though since it's very easy to look unnatural doing this :) I hope you have a wonderful wedding and feel beautiful!
  • You can't spot reduce, only tone, but toning won't show up if there is a fat over-lay.  So best thing to do would be overall weight loss, eat healthy and exercise, and work on strength training the arms to tone while overall fat is melting away!  If you eat healthy and exercise you can lose about 2 lbs per week in a sustainable way.  So in 30 days you could lose 8 lbs.  That should make a difference!
