Dress Dilemma

I have searched many pages and still can't find "the dress". And the new lineup for 2011 doesn't arrive until December. And when I've called the stores for the dresses I did like, I was told that they didn't have them in the store. What????

Anyone else having problems finding a dress they love??

Have you tried on dresses yet?  You can look all day at photos but until you try them on, the photos are pointless.  Soooo many girls, myself included, completely change their idea of their bridal gown once they try them on, so I would suggest setting up an appointment and taking a friend before you get too down about this.

agreed!! I looked at pictures for 2 months online... they all started to look the same to me... You really have to try them on to know what you will like.. and dont be afraid to try on styles you dont think you will like.. I wanted mermaid or trumpet and wound up buying a ball gown!

I definitely agree with PP's.  If you're just relying on photos, you've got a good chance of either falling in love with a gown that doesn't flatter you, is uncomfortable or too expensive.  You've got to try them on to see what truly looks good and feels good!

And DEFINITELY don't be afraid to try on things you don't think you'll like.  You'll probalby be surprised!  Keep an open mind.

I looked at gowns online for a month before trying dresses on. I thought I was going to get a flowy Grecian style gown ended up with a strapless mermaid gown. Everything will fall into place when you wear THE dress. Good luck!

Yes, I've tried on several gowns a few weeks ago. I tried to keep an open mind when I went in. I tried on various styles. I'll keep looking and hopefully something will catch my eye.
