What are you wearing under your dress?

I ordered my dress today. I have no idea what to wear underneath!? Do I wear a Bra? What type of underwear? I guess my question is...What are you wearing under your dress?

I had a long line bra, and just a simple pair of underwear. And my large slip, and crinoline. So I kept it simple, because I knew I would be sweating under there.

I wore a pair of "Bride" undies from VS (so comfy, by the way!), and had cups sewn in instead of wearing a bra. It was way better than tugging at a strapless all night.

i had cups sewn into my dress, but they are not lifting things like a want so I am doing tape along with the sew in cups

I had a built in corset, so I really didn't need anything else. I just wore Bride panties I picked up at Frederick's of Hollywood. I wanted to keep in simple bc no matter the fabric of your dress, you wil stlll be so hot and sweaty by the end of the day.

Once my dress came in my hopes of having cups sewn in were crushed. I will just be wearing a longline bra and cute undies! I don't need crinoline.

I had cups sewn into my dress and the back was a lace up corset so I didn't need a bra. All I had on underneath were personalized boyshorts that said "Mrs. New Last Name". I didn't wear a slip or a crinny, etc... and I can't imagine how I would have survived if I did. I got so hot in that dress, if there had been anything extra on I would have fainted. When I removed my veil at the reception, it instantly cooled me down tremendously. I had no idea that the veil would even make me hotter.

I'm wearing a long line bra, cute ruffle undies & my slip (since I tend to get itchy from lace & crinoline)

I wore generic spanx to hold things in a little and keep my thighs from rubbing together and nothing on top (scandalous!), but the back of my dress was really low so a longline bra wouldn't have worked. I'm so small up there though that it didn't matter, nothing was going to pop out.

I know I am wearing a longline bra but am not sure about undies yet... prob some boyshort ones... my dress is thick so it doesn't matter what's on the bottom! I don't think I am going to wear a slip or anything either.

You can always ask the people where you bought your dress or whoever is doing your alterations!

I'm having cups put in the top of my dress by my seamstress and then I am wearing boyshorts on the bottom. I would definitely recommend having cups put in if you are able to rather then wearing a bra.

I ordered a slip with built-in bra from David's, the same type I was wearing when trying on dresses.

I'm not real busty (a sad so I just had cups sewn in, and it's a corset back. I've got a crinoline to give my skirt some extra volume and I still haven't picked undies. Think I'm going to go with 'something blue'.

My top is a corset so no bra for me...yay. I will have panites and most likely a slip. I don't know though. We are making my dress so we will see once we get it all put together.
