What is FI wearing?

My Fi is very nonchalant about everyting but were' getting down the wire (25days!) and I was trying to figure out what color to put him in. My BM and the GM are going to be in clover green and my other color purpl eis going to be incorporated with the flowers. I was thinking about putting FI in Ivory to match me but he is very fair skinned and i'm afriad it might wash him out. I kinda like the idea of silver or gray or something...just wondering what your thoughts might be

Why can't he wear a regular dark suit (or tuxedo) with a white shirt?

Beware of trying to match the FI to anyone! My parents had my dad in a forest green tuxedo to match the bridesmaids dresses... so not a good look.  No one looks at the pictures and says "oh they match." They say "oh, the 70s."

are you doing silver accents?  I'm assuming you mean colored vests and not like his jacket color?  Is it just a black tux?  You could do like a black pattern or a silver/grey which is a neutral - except if you're wearing ivory a gold/tan accent might work better.  Sorry that's probably not much help.  I'd probably do a black pattern or textured vest just to keep is simple if you're worried that ivory will wash him out.

My FI is wearing a black tux (jacket and pants) and his shirt, vest, and tie will be white to match me. His BM will be wearing the same tux but with a gold vest and tie, and his GM will be wearing the same tux as well but with a light pink tie and vest.

Your FI should stand apart from the rest of the BP in a different color than the BM and GM's.

Thank you for all the advice...I finally got some input from FI and he said he wanted bow ties which totally threw me off. but i decided to put the guys in green vests and green bowties (it actually looks good!) and then i put FI in an ivory vest with a black bow tie!

Remember...the darker a color is the lighter it makes a fair skinned person appear. Ivory on someone who has light skin gives them a lighly bronzed glow. HTH
