Veil AND flower??

I am having a hard time deciding if I should wear a flower with my veil. I will be wearing my hair halfway up with loose curls and I will definitely be wearing my veil, but I also really wanted to wear a flower. Does it look over the top if my hair were to be halfway down with a veil AND flower?

I know this isn't the same thing (not really even close) but it gives you an idea.  This pic shows that having a veil plus a hair accessory (pin or flower or whatever you choose) will still look great.

So no, I don't think it will look over the top with what you want to do.

I pinned this awhile ago. I didn't end up with a veil because I never wanted one and always wanted a flower instead, but this one almost made me do both!

Sounds a lot like what I did. I kind of rolled in the sides leaving some curls free and secured it then put a veil on a com right in the crevice of the roll then topped it with a comb with rose buds instead of something sparkly. (Pardon the crazy pic)
