What do you all think of ballet shoes for the BM? We are having a rustic wedding.

    Will they be comfortable in them?  No one will notice their shoes, even if they're in short dresses.

    In general, I really prefer for brides to just let the BMs pick their own shoes. It sucks to be stuck in shoes that aren't comfortable all day and rarely is one pair of shoes comfortable for multiple people's feet. No one will be looking to see if the shoes match, either. I would probably just let the girls pick shoes that match the dress/formality and that they're comfortable in.

    Personally, I would be very uncomfortable and self conscious in flats. I'm short, so I like the height, and if I was wearing a short dress I think my legs look way better in heels. (I also tend to not be a fan of any pics of wedding parties I see when the BP is noticeably in flats).

    Instead of asking us, why don't you ask your BMs what they think?
