BM jewelry vs. bride's jewelry

If I am wearing silver jewelry should my bridesmaids also be wearing silver? I found a lovely set that only comes in gold that I think would look phenomenal on my BM's, and am considering purchasing it for each of them as their gift, but not if we're going to look totally disconnected. Thoughts????

Jewelry that you require as part of the BM "costume" is not an appropriate BM gift.  The BM gift should not have anything to do with being a BM - it should be something they will like and enjoy long after your wedding, something they would choose to buy for themselves.

That said, you do not need to match jewelry with your BMs.

I think this will be fine! and there is nothing wrong with giving jewlery as a gift! jewlery can be reworn and I think this is a nice gift. I picked out charm bracelets and pretty earrings and I know my ladies will love them!
