Pearl and Rhinestone Vintage necklace

I am trying to find a necklace like this or a way to make one. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

I think you could make this by combining 2  necklaces, one a multi strand pearl necklace, the other a rhinestone necklace about the same length. Just twist them together. Frankly, that's what it looks like they did.
