To wear a veil or not to?

I can't decide if I should wear a veil or not. I always imagined I would but now I'm not so sure. My sister in law is letting me borrow her headband (pearls and rhinestones on it) and I've been looking at veils and they are so expensive! I'm just not sure if I should or not...any thoughts?!

I deleted all of the pics of me in my dress so my fiancée wouldn't find them but I can post a pic of my dress and the headband.

I say veil... but instead of attaching it at the top of your head, or even above an up-do, what about attaching it below the up-do -- so your hair and headband are still featured, but you also have the formality of the wedding veil.

Veils don't have to be expensive.  My seamstress made my cathedral length drop veil for me for $60.  Etsy has some great vendors who make custom veils too.

It really is a personal choice. I always knew I wanted to wear one, but a lot of brides choose not to. Depending on your dress, you could go with just a hair fascinator or a birdcage veil and take it off after the ceremony and pics. My veil was pretty expensive, but it was custom made. I have heard of girls getting good deals elsewhere as well as online through etsy.com and other sites.

Buy what you need from Hobby Lobby or Michaels.  They have veils/veil materials very affordable.  I like the veils that are low in the back.  I won't be wearing a veil, but those are the ones I really like.

I got a knee lenght one from abusymother on etsy...it was only $30 and took about 2 weeks to get.
