Hi! I've noticed that horsehair seems to be a recent trend in the bridal fashion industry, be it in accessories or even bridal gowns themselves.
I'm an animal-lover and have horses of my own. I know that horsehair is easily cut off of a horse without hurting them, but I'm unsure whether or not this horsehair that is being used for bridal fashion is obtained humanely...or is it even real horse hair? On one of the site pages from David's Bridal for Vera Wang it is described as a type of "braided fabric"...I'm rather confused.
I was wondering if anyone out there has any information on this?
