Veil to match Allure 8862

I am wearing Allure 8862 in white for our wedding this August, and I am trying to pick a veil.  I am looking to have some sparkle and/or pearls on the veil, but I don't want to spend more than $100.  Could you recommend veils to match my dress?

Thank you!

Re: Veil to match Allure 8862

  • what type do you want? short? cathedral?
  • I think I am leaning towards fingertip length, but I am flexible on length.  I am looking for whatever would go well with my dress.

As background we're getting married in a full Catholic mass in the late afternoon, but the church itself is not very fancy.  Our reception willl be at a country club in the area.  Our BMs are wearing this dress in soft fuchsia and our GMs are wearing black suits with pink ties to match the BMs.

i know veils can be so expensive and for no reason. my mom talked me into getting a cathedral length. she is helping me pay for it. I found a website that might be helpful-i dont know how you feel about buying your veil online though.

I think you are right on with going fingertip length and not a great deal of embellishment on it. Your dress has a lot happening with the skirt layers (so cute BTW), and simple would be best.

  • Thank you so much!
  • I would try www.cassandralynne.com. I just bought my veil and tiara there for just under $180. I bought the Embroidered Pearl Flowers Wedding Veil and the Rum Pink Porcelain Flowers & Jewels Bridal Tiara. I just got them in and I LOVE THEM! The veil has lots of intricate detailing and scalloped edges. In the bridal shops, veils like this were $300, even $500+!

Also, unlike most other online (or even bridal shops) they have a generous return policy. That was really important to me because I wanted an ivory veil, but I've seen some (even expensive ones) that looked more yellow and dingy rather than ivory.

I emailed the company through the address provided on the website and I got immediate and constant answers to all my questions long before I ever placed an order. Oh, and they told me that almost ALL of their veils are customizeable, so if you find a finish you want that is too short/long, you can likely change the length to get exactly what you want.

I wish Cassandra Lynne was a Knot vendor so I could rate them. I'd give them 5 starts, hands down.
