Back fat

So I went for my final fitting yesterday, I have a corset type dress and the alterations lady took in the bust area and now I have back fat.  Has anyone else experienced this and any ideas of how to hide it?

Was the corset tied too tight?  That could cause the back fat to arise.  I would try your dress on again and only tie the corset tight enough so that your dress will stay up but not overly tight where your skin starts to squish together.  Other than that I am not sure what else you can do.

I think it was too tight,my sisters first time lacing me up, but I read somewhere that once the dress is on<a href=" title="Wedding Planning"><img src=" alt="Wedding Countdown Ticker" border="0"  /></a /> have somone push the excess fat down into the dress and then tighten again.

My dress isn't a corset back, but even without that I still noticed some "back fat" at my final fitting.  What I did was bend over and position my chest in the right spot, which alleviated a lot of the problem.  Definitely make sure your chest is in the right spot and pushed into the front of the dress, and also smooth your back out like PP suggested.  These two things took care of the issue for me!

An alterations lady once told my friend (sorry this is crude and it's hilarious to have your BM's help with this on your wedding day :P) to push all the back fat down under the corset and out towards your sides... the tightness of your dress will keep the fat hidden and pushing it to the side of your body adds the extra size to your boobs to fill out the front more.  It sounds crazy but it seemed to work.  It just took some serious massaging to push it down and around LoL
