Has anyone ordered Ties from ebay?

Hey Ladies,

My wedding is pretty casual and the guys are wearing kahki pants with white shits and brown ties.  Part of our gift to the guys is the ties.  We are on a super tight budget and couldn't stand to spend $30 per tie so I gave in and purchased 4 ties last night on ebay for a total of $15.96 total  (including shipping).  They are just solid brown silk.  Pretty straight forward.  I hope they are okay.

Has anyone else done this, how did it work for you?

I purchased the ties for my FI and his groomsmen off eBay as well and they seem to be great...  Thankfully eBay has gotten better about taking care of scamming sellers, and have helped buyers protect themselves...it's not a perfect system...but I bought almost all my wedding decoration & flowers (silk) and such (about 600.00 worth) and never had a problem with any of the many transactions...

I have been a long time ebay shopper. You should be just fine. However, if for some reason there is a problem, do you have a Burlington Coat Factory in your area? If so, they have great deals on ties. We got all 7 of ours for about $70. It would have been cheaper but they didn't have enough in one brand so we had to get another brand to go with it and then 2 of the guys needed extar long ties, but it was still an awesome deal.

We also purchased the ties from Ebay and saved a good deal.  The ties look really nice and are good quality.  I would just check the sellers feedback rating and reviews from other buyers and I think that you will be good.

I have never purchased ties from ebay but I have made other purchases and always been happy with the results.
