Can't pick! Help!

So FI was supposed to choose my garter (it's one of his assigned tasks lol) and he had me do tons of searching for a garter that was either Star Wars or Chicago Bulls or at least something that would 'go' with the wedding.  I sent him a bunch of links and he narrowed it down to two and told me to make the final choice.

The first is ivory and teal (wedding colors) and the second is a black and red Bulls garter.  They're both pretty close in price and I like them equally...I just don't know if I want to go with the more traditional bridal look or with something that is very "my FI" you know?

  • It doesn't have to match your wedding, it's under the dress. Lol. I'd go with something fun and funky. That's what we plan to do (if I wear one at all, since my dress is chiffon it may be too obvious).

I voted for the red and black one. It's very cute and will be a nice surprise to your H.

I have to say that I'm very happy that I didn't spend a lot on my garter set. It was pretty uncomfortable and I ended up only putting them on right before the garter toss. The one I had was similar in style to what you're considering.

ETA: Also, trying to put the garter on by myself which involved me bending over and getting the thing on my upper leg was more difficult than expected in a tightly tied corset dress.

Ditto PP. I'm assuming you have a garter toss planned, but even at that, no one will really see it.

TBH, I'm pretty sure DH never even saw the one I wore and still didn't look at it before I put it away in a "wedding memories" box.

Aaaaand I spent hours hand-sewing it with custom charms and colors thinking it would be something he would always cherish. Guys don't care much about the little things, I guess!

Well the results are overwhelmingly in favor of the Bulls garter.  Thanks ladies!  I know it won't be seen but I figured HE is going to see it, so I wanted it to be a little special...but in hearing some of your experiences, I'm guessing he won't notice lol!
