Groom's Attire Question

Ours is an outdoor garden wedding and the heat is going to be sweltering.  I'm thinking of him putting on a nice white shirt with rolled-up sleeves, vest and a tie (which he can remove after the ceremony).  I'm going to be a knee-length gown.  We wanted a casual feel...  Please give me your opinion on this.  If you have a better idea, kindly share too.  Thank you

Absolutely!  He wants it as casual as possible... and would be jumping for joy if I say "yes" to him wearing a pair of shorts!  But I feel necessary to "dress up" a little though not over the top with the heat.

So he wants casual, but does he have any ideas on what to wear?  If he's lost for options you should probably give him at least a couple ideas.  He could also wear linen pants with a white button down.
