PINK wedding gown "matching question......

OK, so I am looking at this pink wedding gown....it is adorable, it is light pink/blush with polka dots and white lace. I also love the aqua blue with watermellon sash dress that we found for our bridesmaids but worried it will not look good. I guess the bigger question is WHAT WILL match with the pink gown? We are having a beach wedding!

I think that if you are going to do a blush pink gown, maybe go for more muted softer colors for your wedding party. If you're wanting blue think beach glass shades of blue. Personally I think the aqua would look ok but that the watermelon pink might be too bright with your dress. Maybe just tone down the sash? I think the aqua with a lighter blue sash would look great, especially with white or pink flowers. Hope that helped!

your dress sounds really pretty! I'd suggest you highlight that with softer shades for the BMs, like PP poster said, the bright colors might distract. what ivory bridesmaids dresses? depending on the shade of pink that could be pretty and romantic looking.

OK those are the dresses we want in the wedding. I don't want to look like the wedding party is an Easter Basket, we want some brighter colors...we were going to do Peonys for the bouquets...but does the blush (its pink) wedding dress and the blue dresses look OK? Then the question is for the flower girl---does she wear the same color as the bridesmaids or a light pink like me? If I wore white I would have her in white but not sure how it will look with me in pink, the 3 bridesmaids in blue followed by pink again. Should we just put the flower girl inthe same blue? Again, this is all still up in the air! HELP-please!!!

Thank you to everyone who answered. I guess I just have to make a decision now! LOL. I am taking my bridesmaids out next Friday so hopefully we will find good stuff!
