Bridesmaid Dresses

When the bridesmaids are getting their alterations done on their dresses, should they all have their dresses fall on the same part of the leg or should they all be the same distance from the ground (when they have their shoes on). They also all very different heights and different heel sizes. Thanks

Same part of the leg. I am 5'2" with short legs. If you put me in a dress that my 5'8" with long legs friend was wearing at her knee, that height from the floor would be up my thigh and look weird.

I think it depends on what style your dress is (like-floor, tea, cocktail). Personally I find it neater when dresses are all the same height from the ground, but the only exception would be if the dress is short. My BM dresses will be tea-length, and I left it up to my MOH how high from the ground she'd like it hemmed. If long or tea length, definitely go for height from ground with shoes on.
