He drives a cherry picker at work and it slipped off his finger last night. He climbed down to check for it on the floor and couldn't find it, so he tried to drive it forward a few feet thinking it rolled underneath the truck. He started to drive forward and heard a crunch. When he backed up and looked, his ring was in three pieces. It was Tungsten Carbide. Needless to say, he was VERY angry. When he told me, I was sad and disappointed, but it was just his ring and rings can be replaced. I went online to the jeweler's website to see how much a new one would cost. With engravings, a new ring (exact design) was $325, at the very least. Then I noticed the chat window, and, on a hunch, told the operator the situation. He told me that all I had to do was fill out a form, pay a $35 deductible, and they would send us a new one. Just like that. MADE MY DAY. Now I just have to find the reciept from when we ordered it lol...
