Groom/Best Man attire - HELP!!!!

Destination wedding in Mexico on the beach....

I'm wearing a silver dress, floor length, strapless. My only attendant is wearing a one shoulder dress that sits just above the knee in Guava. 

Question is what do I dress the men in (only two - groom and best man)? I was thinking grey pants and a white shirt for a causal look, but is it weird to have them in the same thing? If they wear something different do I try to match the best mans shirt to the matron of honors dress?

Probably over thinking this, but any suggestions welcomed!

Your groom gets to pick what he and the best man wear. But if you're wearing a floor length gown, he probably needs to wear at least a tie and preferably a jacket or a full suit.

<div>The groom doesn't have a preference and has deferred to me to figure it out... I guarantee that if I pick something crazy he will veto it, but wants me to pull together some options for him to choose. He is just very happy to not be wearing a suit. </div>

Since you're wearing a floor length gown, I think your FI and his groomsmen should at least wear khakis and a tie to fit the formality of your dress. Grey suits would also look nice.

I think grey suits would look really nice. You can get summer suits since your wedding is on a beach.

Do whatever you want! It's your wedding  I like your idea of white shirts and gray/khaki pants. If they are worried about the men wearing the same thing, maybe you could just get the groom an extra special boutonniere so he stands out that way!
