  • #1- Way way more unique!
Two Drifters Off To See The World...
  • # 2 - I think it's really flattering and sounds like you wouldn't want to change as much as with number 1.

I kind of think #1 looks like a really pretty feather duster...

  • I like the second one better.

  • Another vote for the second.  The first one you listed tons of alterations, with the second you didn't list any.

  • Going for glamorous #1 - my fav
Going for Classic (kind of reminds me of Khole Kardashian's dress) #2
  • I like # 2 better...it seems more flattering and timeless.

  • #2. #1 has more of a wow factor, but I think with that one the dress would be wearing you. People would be more focused on the back than the beautiful bride. #2 still has a wow factor but it showcases you instead of the other way around.
  • Both are beautiful but I am really loving #1.   Still with either dress you can't go wrong in my opinion.

    Love is the ultimate superpower.
It can make you weak and strong simultaneously.

  • #2 is very flattering on you
  • I'm not a fan of what the back is doing in #2.  I can envision #1 with your changes and I think it would look stunning.  #2 would be great but I think the way the fabric crosses under the bum looks a bit awkward.

  • I personally like #1 best.  It looks more romantic and seems to fit you a little better.  I can imagine the changes (even though there are quite a few) and think I like it the best.  The train will be beautiful once altered.

I like #2 as well, just not as much.

Of course opinions are just that. And the only one that counts in this case is yours!

Which one do you feel the best in?

  • #2! all the way.

    Ditto.

    Number 1 by far (IMHO)

    This.
  • I like the first one better.  I haven't seen many dresses like it, and it looks gorgeous on you.  The second one looks very generic.

Getting a dress because you love the back seems like a waste.  Most of your pictures will be taken from the front, anyway!
  • I vote number 2. If you need to make that many changes to number 1, then it's probably not the right dress.

  • 2! The first one looks kind of like a feather duster
  • i like #1 for sure....its your wedding day... you want it to be special. The second one looks like every other mermaid dress.
  • #2 for sure - Judd Waddell is one of my favorite wedding gown designers.

  • Dress #1 is unique..but you listed alot of alterations. So by the time your done, my opnion might be totally different because the dress will be totally different.. I also believe that if you have to drastically alter a dress..its not for you.
    Dress #2 is timeless.
So I guess it really depends what you are going for.. #1 will go out of style in a couple years and you may look back and think "what was I thinking"..only because its very fashion forward for right now, whereas I think #2 will still be beautiful 5, 10, 20 years from now
So..do you want forward and modern? or timeless and classic?
  • Number 1 :) Two seems to simple

  • #1  - I Think once everything is done with it, it will look amazing,  I can also see why you are torn, #2 already has the beaded sash the sweetheart neckline and fits like a glove but dont second guess yourself.  You feel in love with the first one for a reason!!
  • Two-classic, flattering and elegant

  • dress number 2!!! It looks much nicer on you. You are also the main focus while wearing it instead of the first one where the dress becomes the focus. The first one is way to much and you have to think that if you are going to alter it that much do you really even like the dress? What is the point of getting a dress that you're going to change everything about? Just my opinion though ^_^
  • Adding a sweetheart neckline and a belt/sash is very common.  It's not changing 'everything' or altering 'a lot'.  Being that I'm 5'1, any gown that I would get would have to be shortened or raised.

I really think you should go with #1. You clearly love it or you wouldnt have made justifications like you did above. I think #2 is more beautiful, in my opinion, but I think, based on your comments, you love #1 more. :)
  • I literally gasped when I saw you in #2--so #2 has my vote! :)

  • Number 1!
